Jack played the drums when in high school (many years ago) so his fascination with battery operated drummers is to be expected. These Japanese-made 1950's and 60's toys are remarkable in their action. Each character plays the drums with precision and enthusiasm. One drum stick works the cymbal and the other the snare drum, while the feet work the pedals to the bass drum and the high-hat cymbals. Above we have the "Fred Flintstone Bedrock Band," "Daisy The Jolly Drumming Duck," "Mambo the Jolly Drumming Elephant," and "Dandy the Happy Drumming Pup."
