Every year Perry
involved himself with the Duke Children's Classic, a celebrity golf and tennis
tournament in Durham, North Carolina. This event raises money to benefit
children's health-care programs. The event is capped off with a celebrity show
and in the Spring of 1991 Jack was invited by Perry to perform with him
and many other popular celebrities.
